What is a Trust Seal you might ask? Well, a lot of our users have told us how wary they are of fake vendors, and research has shown that 70% of online shoppers have cancelled an online order at some point because they did not “trust” the transaction.

So we’ve created a badge called a Trust Seal for our vendors to display on their websites in order to provide reassurance to our users and other visitors to their sites, that the vendor is verified by EcoSwap as authentic and trustworthy.

We want to be clear though, that our Trust Seal isn’t actually about sustainability, (Although we are working on providing those types of endorsements!). So the trust seal is not any kind of statement on a brand’s eco credentials, it’s simply confirming that they are a legitimate online vendor, as opposed to a bogus one.
